Here’s an update of what mao has accomplished in Late Sep - October 2024!

Trials of Magicat Comics

Meow completed…

• Fully painted Page 37 to page 58..

• Sketched are written the entire chapter 2 & 3

The comics are becoming increasingly intricate, with complex backgrounds and a growing cast of characters and creatures. Wish mao the best as of luck as I tackle this challenge!

Maogic World Compendium

The Mythical beast section of the bestiary is nearly done! I've designed and sketched most compendium entries, just need to cross-hatch them all.

Magicat Plush

We had to find a new manufacturer as the old plush was made wayback in 2019/2020-ish and the new prototype have just arrive (1 Nov).

The plush now includes some features which were missing from the old prototype and i can’t wait to share them with you! I will have to retake some photos for the kickstarter campaign.

Overall, I am super happy with the plush so far and I can’t wait to launch the kickstarter in the upcoming weeks.

New merch for the online store and pop-up events

Attended 3 different pop-ups! Didn’t sold much merch but meow learnt alot.. Slowly but surely our displays will be getting more maogical!

The next upcoming maogic pop-up is at the artist alley in the Asia Comic Expo 2025 in Feb 2025!

Also here is a sneak peak of an upcoming merch item… Maogic cards! I can’t wait to finish working on them and get them printed!
